Ginkgo biloba

Increasing amounts of evidence show that herbal products made from ginkgo leaves may help to relieve a condition known as cerebral insufficiency, which is a decrease in the blood supply to the brain. Frequently associated with aging, cerebral insufficiency may cause confusion, dementia, hearing problems, and memory loss. Dementia is an increasing decline in thought processes caused by brain damage or disease. Chemicals in ginkgo leaves are known to thin the blood and they may also normalize muscle tone in blood vessel walls. Both of these effects may improve blood flow to the brain, thereby increasing the brain's oxygen supply and possibly relieving conditions associated with poor blood flow. Additionally, in laboratory studies, ginkgo leaf preparations seemed to prevent cell destruction caused by beta-amyloid proteins--chemicals thought to be involved in causing Alzheimer's disease. At least one large, long-term study is underway to determine whether taking ginkgo can help to prevent or delay the start of dementia for healthy older adults.

Take 1 to 2 capsules, twice a day before meals. Epileptic patients should avoid using this product. Individuals using blood thinning medication like warfarin, should avoid using Ginkgo biloba. If you are using medication for diabetes, consult your healthcare practitioner before using this product. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid using this product.

Taurine is useful for seizure disorders (epilepsy), autism, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), retinal degeneration, diabetes, and alcoholism. It is also used to improve mental performance and as an antioxidant. Taurine is a conditionally essential amino sulfonic acid present in high amounts in meat and fish. The most abundant dietary source of taurine is human breast milk. Large amounts of taurine are also found in the human brain, retina, heart, and platelets.                

Take 1 capsule  3 times a day before meals. If you suffer from Bipolar disorder, avoid using taurine.                

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid using this product.

Lecithin and choline have been studied extensively for possible benefits in preventing or treating dementia. In general, dementia is a serious cognition impairment that may be caused by stroke, Alzheimer's disease, substance abuse, brain infection, or injury to the brain or spinal cord. Cognition includes the mental processes used to acquire, maintain, retrieve, and utilize information. Individuals who have dementia often also have a low level of a natural chemical known as acetylcholine. A neurotransmitter (a natural body chemical involved in carrying signals from nerve cells to other cells), acetylcholine affects muscles and memory. Lecithin supplementation may improve symptoms associated with dementia by increasing levels of acetylcholine in the body.           

Take 1 softgel 3 times a day, with meals.
